ABOUT ME
I always told my parents that I wanted to be a "Magician Chef" when I got older. Their response was probably what you'd expect from traditional minded people: You don't want to be a chef or a magician. But, I knew I wanted to create in some way, so I did the next best thing and studied film at Temple University with a concentration in editing/post production.
Graduating in 2008 with a BA in Film and Media Arts, I embarked on my career by working in various facets of the film and TV industry. Starting with broadcast news/live TV, I then went on to work in production in various roles ranging from PA work on large studio features to grip roles in indies.
Coming back into my love of post production, in 2012 took a role as an Assistant Editor handling everything from political ads to reality TV and feature films. This exposure to the ins and outs of workflow, technique and creative approach allowed me to grow into an editor role handling integraded brand spots and direct to client proprietary content.
In 2021, I came on with Alkemy X in Philadelphia to lend all of my experience to their post production department as a Post Producer and Post Production supervisor to this day.
You can say that I've dedicated my life to bring some "magic" into my projects. As best as I can, I bring different "ingredients" together to "cook" up something that people wouldn't expect. #magicianchef
